Is it difficult to create Excel Templates? No, this is not the case at all, as the way to do so is relatively simple and straight forward.

Granted, it might not seem that way on the surface as many Excel consultants will commonly be tasked with creating the many varied templates via the program.

Excel looks like a very simple and basic program on the surface. In many ways this is an accurate assessment of the program. The designers of Excel put the appropriate effort into the design of the program to make it user-friendly. Excel, of course, is designed for the "average person" and you do not need any additional skills in order to navigate it. The most common means of creating an Excel template would be to open up a new workbook and delete all the components to the workbook you do not need. Once you have created your own unique workbook, you will need to save it as a template. This way, the design of it can be duplicated in the future. You would then name your template via the File Name function.

When you wish to access your custom template, you would go to the File menu and select New and then select Templates on My Computer and the pick the template you wish to use. (You may have created and saved several different templates in Excel as you are not limited to any finite amount) Once you have opened a new template, you can then use the template in any manner you wish to.
